Five For Fighting / Can One Man Save the World

As a company we’ve contributed to war and humanitarian efforts in Ukraine since the first week of the war. In May of 2022 I was hired as a camera operator to film a music video at Hostomel Airport, just outside of Kiev in Ukraine. Hostomel was one of the first points of contact during the invasion. The devastation there is incredible, including the almost total destruction of the worlds largest plane, the Antonov An-225 Mriya, which served as the backdrop to the music video. Upon my return from what can only be described as a life-changing experience I was asked to edit and color the video which has been viewed by over a million people world wide. In addition to helping to keep the spotlight on Ukraine, the video raised important funds for Save Our Allies; an NGO working largely on the front lines in the on-going war effort. My thanks to Jon Ondrasik / Five For Fighting for not only writing and performing the song, but also for having the vision to take a small, dedicated film crew to a country at war. And huge thanks to Hollywood Heard and Diesel Jack Media for bringing me on board and producing the video.
